There has been increased cormorant activity on our waters in recent months. One member counted 15 perching on overhead wires by the Wellow Brook. These birds can take 2lbs of fish per day so the damage they cause can be considerable.
It would be very helpful if members could record sightings. This can be numbers seen at particular locations, roosts, damaged fish (normally parallel marks on both sides) or specific incidents.
