The Riverfly Partnership is a network of nearly 100 partner organisations, representing anglers, conservationists, entymologists, scientists, water course managers and relevant authorities, working together to:

- protect the water quality of our rivers;
- further the understanding of riverfly populations;
- actively conserve riverfly habitats.

The Association needs to be part of this: it will help us to identify pollution incidents, and make us better-informed anglers. Our part could be played if we had a small number of volunteers (3 or 4) who would attend a one-day course on how to recognise the key species and then carry out once-a-month monitoring at specific locations.

ATAA established a small group in 2015 and has started monthly monitoring at the cattle crossing below the bridge at Midford.
We always meet on the first Saturday of each month at 10:30am, please come along and join us.
